Diesel Fuel Injection

DENSO has been producing diesel engine management systems since 1957 and is among the top three producers of diesel fuel injection systems in the world. Our customer base for this market includes Cummins, Daihatsu, Hino, Isuzu, John Deere, Komatsu, Kubota, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan Diesel, Toyota and Volvo.

Over the years, DENSO has established a reputation for innovation, quality and reliability. In late 1995 for example, DENSO launched the world's first high pressure common rail system which saw a reduction in nitrogen oxides and particulate matter over existing systems. And in 2003, DENSO’s common rail system achieved the world’s highest injection pressure of 1,800 bar and five injections per combustion stroke.

In the immediate future, DENSO plans to launch the next generation common rail diesel injection system using piezo-injectors in 2005. This system will further enhance diesel engine torque and reduce particulate matter in exhaust gases.

Looking forward, DENSO will continue developing diesel engine management systems that meet ever strict worldwide emission regulations and provide cleaner emissions, quieter and more powerful diesel engines.

DENSO Diesel Fuel Injection offers:

  • The world’s highest injection Common Rail System (CRS) with a maximum pressure of 1800 Bar, (5 times injections per cycle) which translates to a drastic reduction in Nitric Oxide (NOx) and Particulate Matter (PM).
  • The latest versions of DENSO’s Common Rail Systems which easily meet EURO 4 Emission requirements without the use of expensive Diesel Particulate Filters.
  • A Common Rail System which is the lightest of its type.
  • A commitment to ongoing quality improvement, greater reliability and systems designed to meet the increasingly strict emission laws.
