DENSO East Japan to Start its Operation

29/06/11

DENSO East Japan Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of DENSO Corporation, will start a portion of production processes of air conditioning systems using partial space in its plant in October 2011.

In an effort to support restoration after the Great East Japan Earthquake, DENSO East Japan has been lending its plant to Fujikura Rubber as an alternative production facility since April. Fujikura Rubber will continue production at DENSO East Japan, however its production layout will be shifted to create space to allow DENSO East Japan to begin partial production.

DENSO East Japan's remaining production processes will continue to operate at the Nishio Plant in Aichi prefecture. The relocation timing for full operation at DENSO East Japan will be decided based upon the restoration situation of Fujikura Rubber.
