Australian DENSO Group Associates helped spread a little Christmas cheer late last year, as over 1,200 items of food and 400 toys were generously donated to needy families during our Community Service Day activities. This was a great effort, and one we are all keen to build upon next year.

As part of DENSO's Community Service Day, Australian Automotive Air (DENSO's manufacturing plant) and DENSO Associates took part in the Motorcycle Association of Australia's annual Toy Run. Over 12,000 motorcycle riders jammed the city streets for a massive convoy through Melbourne, where tens of thousands of toys were donated to the Salvation Army. It was amazing to see so many motorbikes decorated with Christmas tinsel, lights and toys. Even more impressive was the sight of leather clad bikies riding through the streets with one unified goal - helping the local community. The Toy Run made the evening news, with thousands of disadvantaged children receiving toys for Christmas - toys that brought a little light to their difficult lives.
