Denso Corporation recently announced the appointment of Neil Kitamiya as Managing Director of DENSO International Australia, effective April 2006. Neil has more than 30 years experience within the DENSO Worldwide Corporation, with postings in Japan (1974-79), Australia (1979-84) and the US (1995-2000).

His return to Australia comes at a vital phase for DENSO, as well as the Australian automotive industry. Neil's aftermarket, sales and OE experience will add both strength and passion to the industry, at a time when local manufacturing, overseas exports and the global marketplace converge.

Neil's appointment comes off the back of the DENSO Corporation announcing record year end sales and growth, with consolidated global net sales totalling US $27.3 billion (a 13.9% increase).
