Cumulative production of industrial robots exceeds 30,000 units

DENSO robots are developed and manufactured by group company DENSO Wave by applying technological expertise nurtured over many years in the automotive field.

DENSO is the largest user of small assembly robots in the world, with over 15,000 DENSO units used in its own automotive parts manufacturing plants. A further 15,000 units have been supplied to customers globally. With 30,000 units in operation, this makes DENSO the market leader in the small assembly robot market.

In part, DENSO owes this position to the fact that it can supply both four and six-axis robots for a single production range. Customers need only one robot environment for their entire production line. This translates into time and cost savings in programming, operation, maintenance and staff training.

With four and six-axis robots, small to medium builds, payloads ranging from 5-20kg and with various arm ranges, there is a DENSO robot to meet the needs of almost any application.

DENSO Robots offer:

  • Repeatability specifications which are as low as +/-0.015mm.
  • Light, high-rigidity arms and segmented-core motors which maximise output from small units.
  • Controllers which provide simulation, self-diagnosis, networking and visual recognition. Control is simplified with a large liquid crystal display. Graphical user interface and an easy to understand hierarchical menu allow users to issue instructions to the robot in a dialogue format.
  • Repeatability specifications which guarantee high accuracy and consistency resulting in finer quality finished product.
  • he fastest operating units in their class which translates into more efficient production and flexibility to market.
  • Simpler programming, easier operation and minimal robot maintenance.
